A short biography
I work with children, families, and adults navigating parenting challenges, complex trauma, identity, and major life transitions. I have particular experience supporting immigrant, refugee, and racialized clients, including those navigating questions of belonging, adjustment, and the impact of their experiences and environments.
With children, I use play therapy and child-focused approaches to help them express emotions, experiences, and concerns in ways that feel natural to them. I also work with parents and families to understand challenging behaviours, strengthen connection, and navigate the challenges of parenting.
With adults, my work includes narrative and somatic approaches, particularly when working with trauma and experiences that can feel difficult to make sense of.
My practice is grounded in cultural humility and an anti-oppressive lens, with attention to the social and systemic contexts that shape our lives.
