A short biography
Samiyah is co-founder of Rubiks Counselling Services and a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO. Her session aim in supporting young people who are navigating the complexity of growing up between cultures — balancing expectations from home, school, and the wider world. With a background in art therapy and narrative therapy, she brings a gentle, deeply empathetic approach to healing.
Accepts and common concerns. Samiyah offers a therapeutic space that goes beyond talk. Combined with creative art process, storytelling, and culturally responsive frameworks to help clients explore identity, lower stress and anxiety, and build resilience. Samiyah is also a sought-after speaker for workshops on cultural identity, emotional wellness for youth, and community-organized events across the Ottawa region.
