3. What if I am not ready to begin family therapy?
If you are not ready to begin therapy, we offer a Parenting Course designed to provide practical tools and guidance at your own pace.
In this course, you will:
Learn how to foster a secure attachment with your child
Understand and learn the prerequisites required for your child to be able to feel safe and self-soothe
Acquire tools to regulate yourself (i.e., do your work) and your child
Learn about the necessity for self-compassion in parenting to break the cycles
Course Features:
Recorded Video Lessons: Series of video lessons with main concepts, examples, scenarios, and experience compiled from years of practice as psychotherapists.
Practical Tools: Strategies to increase self-awareness and regulation to implement in your day-to-day.
Handouts & Diagrams: Accessible resources to ensure you have key concepts available for ongoing review.
4.How do we get started with parent support or the parenting course?
Getting started begins with an initial consultation video call to discuss your family's needs, and determine whether therapy or our self-paced Parenting Course is the best fit.
If therapy is the right path: We will guide you through what to expect next and schedule your first session.
If you prefer the course: We will share direct access details so you can begin learning at your own pace immediately, or provide other helpful resources.
